The PTA’s goal has always been to provide Summit View with $80,000 annually to help close the school’s budget gap to continue to provide educational assistants (EAs) at every grade level and necessary supplies to implement our programs such as online learning software and consumable art and science materials. This will be the first year in many that we will not be able to even come close to giving back $80,000.
After an assessment of our limited funding sources this year and the increased need to give back to our school amidst budget cuts, we have determined that the only way we can meet our goal is through a concerted effort to collect donations over the course of the year. We are asking each family to give $30/month from September to May.
If at least 85% of our families contribute, we will reach our goal of $75,000!
