We raised $43,734!!!

The Summit View community came together as a CREW and made a huge IMPACT for our school! The generosity blew us away.  A portion of Groove-A-Thon will fund the SVE PTA Teacher Grant Program where we will be adding alternative seating to classrooms, providing art supplies, purchasing playground balls, ordering ribbons and metals for Field Day and so much more!

Groove A Thon is our Fall Fundraiser that allows the students a morning movin’ and groovin’ outside!  There are carnival games, dancing, obstacle courses, soccer and so much more!  Some very brave SVE teachers and staff will even sit in a dunk tank!

We ask for donations that will go straight back to Summit View Elementary rather than sending our students out to family, friends and neighbors asking for per lap donations to track or selling an assortment of items!  Funds raised are invested into our Fall Teacher Grant Program where teachers submit requests for additional classroom supplies, materials and teaching tools.  To name a few things, last year we helped add alternative classroom seating, purchased an online subscription to BrainPop Jr., provided all kinds of art supplies, and grew the Technology lab’s robotic recourses.

The general guideline is a total donation of $100 per student or $250 per family.  We understand that not all families are able to donate this amount, however, we do ask that every family donates something to show our children that we value their education.

Thank you to our 2017 Sponsors!
