There are all kinds of way that you can support the PTA and become involved in your child’s education.
PTA sponsors many projects and events throughout the school year, and we need your help to make them successful. Whether you want to be actively involved or just devote an hour or two, we have something that will fit your schedule.

Fall Fundraising: PTA Board
Organizes events to raise money for teacher grants, school needs and PTA operating funds.
Restaurant Nights, Chair: Lainie Luu
Works with local restaurants to schedule community building and fundraising nights.
Staff Appreciation, Chair: Jen McIndoe
Coordinates monthly and annual staff appreciation.
Community Outreach, Chair: Molly Willard, PTA President
Organizes service projects within the SVE community.
Grant Writing/Corporate Sponsors, Chair: OPEN
Responsible for investigating available and writing grant proposals to obtain funds that benefit our students and school. Volunteers work in unison with PTA board.
Scrip Gift Card Sales, Chair: OPEN
Coordinates Staff holiday and end of the year gift giving program.
Bake Sales: PTA Board
Organizes two bake sales per year.
Muffins in the Morning, Chair: Laura Radueg
Two muffins in the morning events per year two events per year. Coordinates supplies and volunteers.
Public Relations, Chair: Kathy Seader
Submits articles to DCSD and local papers highlighting exciting events at SVE.
Volunteer Coordinator, Chair: Molly Willard
Acts as liaison for PTA, providing information to individual classroom coordinators.
Website/Social Media, Chair: Lindsey Mladinich, PTA Secretary
Update and maintain the PTA Facebook page.
Welcome Committee, Chair: PTA Board
Welcomes and supports families who start at SVE mid-year.
Yearbook, Chair: Christine Gregorek
Includes photography and editing yearbook. The Yearbook committee is specifically looking for those willing to submit pictures of school events/classes throughout the year and those looking to help create digital pages.
