What is the WatchDOGS Program?

WatchDOGS stands for “Dads Of Great Students.”  The main mission of the program is to have positive male role models in our schools (showing our kids that education is important) and to have an extra set of eyes in the building to increase security and reduce bullying.  The program grows every year and is currently in over 6400 schools nationwide.

Calling all Watch D.O.G.S (Dads Of Great Students),
SVE wants your help to volunteer as a Watchdog Dad!  Watch D.O.G.S. are meant to provide SVE students with the presence of positive male role models at the school.  This year Watch D.O.G.S. will be volunteering during ALL lunch and recess for ALL grades K-6th (10:40am-1:15pm).  Watch D.O.G.S. are meant to notice and stop bullying on the playground and in the cafeteria, encourage good sportsmanship and inclusion, provide an extra set of eyes and ears to help keep the school safe and secure, and of course high fives all around!
Please follow the sign-up genius link to choose your volunteer day.  Please sign up for just one day at first to allow everyone an opportunity.  After a few weeks we’ll send out a reminder if there are any remaining extra spots.
